Aaron Ramsey scores record hat-trick for Arsenal

Arsenal returned to winning ways on Saturday with the 5-1 demolition of Everton at the Emirates on Saturday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored in his first Premier League game following his deadline day move from Borussia Dortmund, whilst fellow Arsenal debutant Henrikh Mkhitaryan recorded a hat-trick of assists.

However, it was centre midfielder Aaron Ramsey who stole the headlines by scoring a hat-trick versus the Merseyside club.

The Welsh midfielder opened the scoring after only six minutes tapping in from close range from Mkhitaryan’s cutback after Eliaquim Mangala was all over the place on his debut in the Everton defence.

Ramsey added a second on 16 minutes and completed the score 16 minutes from time.  In the process the 27-year-old became the 20th player to score a Premier League hat-trick for Arsenal – more than any other club in the competition’s history.
