Top 10 Non-European Premier League Goalscorers

Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero went into the Premier League record books today with his 124th goal in the English top flight.

The Argentine scored City’s opener in their 5-0 thrashing of 10-man Liverpool at the Etihad in today’s lunchtime kickoff.

A brace each from Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sané saw Pep Guardiola’s side run out emphatic winners.

Agüero’s goal meant that he is now the all-time Premier League top goalscorer among non-European players.

The top 10 are as follows:

Player Country Goals
Sergio Agüero Manchester City 124
Dwight Yorke Trinidad & Tobago 123
Didier Drogba Ivory Coast 104
Emmanuel Adebayor Togo 97
Yakubu Nigeria 94
Mark Viduka Australia 92
Carlos Tevez Argentina 84
Luis Suárez Uruguay 69
Yaya Touré Ivory Coast 62
Harry Kewell Australia 57

Sergio Agüero goes ahead of former-Aston Villa, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and Sunderland player Dwight Yorke.

Yaya Touré is the only other player in the top 10 currently plying his trade in the Premier League.
